This area is always nice to hike in and we took the Gill brook trail toward the end to walk along the river. Finished up with dinner and beer in downtown Keene.

Dial, Nippletop 6/7/14
Dial and Nippletop are close to the Dix range and have good views of Dix and the great range. We left from the Ausable club and the trail went up fast. Dial doesn't have a clear top. The trail goes up to a number of false summits some of which have good views. Nippletop has a small rock top with a good views. The summit was actually crowded on this nice summer day. Crowded meant about 15 people which filled the entire exposed part of the summit.
