Ken, Bruce, and Sue went up Mt. Marcy one day. Ken went up Big Slide and Yard another.
Nice winter weather with a fair amount of snow at elevation. I remember Yard was very marginal staying on the trail. There are some very tight spruce trees near the top that are so close together there were a few places where I had to back track because it was to hard to move through the trees going forward.
Marcy was nice with good views. Nice leaving from Peggy O Brian camp to climb the surrounding mountains.
