No Adirondack peaks today. It rained hard yesterday and was 35-40 today so we were not sure what to expect and decided to go up Camels Hump. Turns out it was very icy. I guess we could have guessed that! Good to get outside though and went up a different way. Forrest City to Monroe and then down Burrows. Haven't been on the Monroe side of the mountain for a long time so it was interesting. A number of ice waterfalls and went by the beaver pond. Looked for the area where the around-the-hump ski trail goes but missed the crossing.
